Two Illinois Wesleyan seniors were so inspired by Rebecca Black’s song ”Friday” at Thursday’s NCAA tournament banquet that they used the tune to rap about Friday’s game against St. Thomas. Watch the video here.

After surveying 50 St. Thomas  students, the answer to how the majority of students are paying for their vacations is clear: their parents. Forty-six percent of students’ trips are paid for by their parents.

The St. Thomas Concert Choir and Liturgical Choir held its annual Sacred Arts Festival concert on Tuesday, March 13. The festival mixes vocals and instrumentals with other departments such as theater, fine arts and film, but this is the first year dancers were represented.

St. Thomas students, faculty and staff gathered Friday afternoon to listen to English professor Gordon Grice’s “The Human Being as a Meal” lecture. He focused on the attributes that led to the aggressive nature of human/animal interactions and the minimal land left to wild animals. The Asmat Art Gallery has found a special place in the Anderson Student Center. The exhibition displays art from the Asmat culture in Papua, Indonesia, including photographs, carvings, weavings and video.
