Tommie women’s tennis team drops final game to Gustavus

Seniors Bridget Noack and Shelby Henderson ended their St. Thomas tennis careers Thursday evening when the Tommies fell to Gustavus 5-2 in the MIAC tournament conference semifinals.

The men’s tennis team battled windy conditions Saturday afternoon, sealing third-place in the regular season conference standings as it took a 7-2 victory over the Macalester College.

Both the St. Thomas men’s and women’s tennis teams recorded wins over St. Olaf on Saturday at Lifetime Fitness in Fridley, Minnesota.

The St. Thomas softball team’s national championship hopes are still alive after earning an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III tournament Monday morning.

Women’s tennis clinches 1st MIAC playoff championship

St. Thomas joined Gustavus and Carleton as just the third team to win the MIAC playoff championship in women’s tennis since the current format was adopted in 2007.
