On Nov. 5, 2013 at 4:20 a.m., Public Safety responded to a disturbance in Flynn Residence Hall. An unknown individual, reported as pounding on the secured door of a St. Thomas student’s residence, could not be located upon officers’ check of the area.

On Nov. 5, 2013 at 3:45 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in 32 South Finn St. An IRT employee reported a St. Thomas flatscreen TV was stolen from the lower level of 32F. PublicSafety_Briefs_PHOTO

On Nov. 5, 2013 at 5:09 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A St. Thomas contract employee reported a St. Thomas student broke his or her collarbone playing Ultimate Frisbee.

On Nov. 5, 2013 at 11:23 p.m., Public Safety documented a liquor law violation in John Paul II Residence Hall. Residence Life reported five underage St. Thomas students were in possession of alcohol.

On Nov. 6, 2013 at 3:55 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A St. Thomas student reported his unattended laptop was stolen from the third floor of the library.

On Nov. 8, 2013 at 2:10 a.m., Public Safety reported public urination on the Lower Quad. A St. Thomas student found urinating near the flagpole was identified by officers and sent off campus.

On Nov. 8, 2013 at 11:49 a.m., Public Safety assisted the St. Thomas community by donating abandoned property to Goodwill in St. Paul.

On Nov. 8, 2013 at 4:15 p.m., Public Safety responded to marijuana possession in Lot A. A guest of a St. Thomas student was found to have a small amount of admitted marijuana in plain-view inside his parked vehicle.

On Nov. 8, 2013 at 5:42 p.m., Public Safety assisted a St. Thomas student in the Child Development Center. The student, whose key was stolen at an unknown location, was provided resources for getting a replacement key.

On Nov. 9, 2013 at 1:45 a.m., Public Safety, St. Paul Police and Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Cretin Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student, who struck and injured his head, was assisted by medics and sent home with a parent.

On Nov. 9, 2013 at 11:41 p.m., Public Safety, St. Paul Police and Fire Department Medics responded to a medical on the 2100 block of Grand Avenue. An intoxicated student who was struck by a vehicle after crossing the street illegally was transported by medics to an area hospital.

On Nov. 10, 2013 at 12:27 a.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 2000 block of Grand Avenue. A St. Thomas neighbor reported an unidentified individual was passed out in a yard on the block, then left the area on his own power.

On Nov. 11, 2103 at 2:30 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft from motor vehicle on the 100 block of Cretin Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported the front passenger window of her parked was smashed and her purse was taken from the floor of the same area of the vehicle.
