On Sept. 16, 2014 at 5:54 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life staff with a welfare check in Grace Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student, who was reported as possibly being in crisis, was located in her residence and was safe.

On Sept. 16, 2014 at 7:22 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical situation in the Morrison Hall Public Safety Office. A St. Thomas student with a bruised rib was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On Sept. 17, 2014 at 9:52 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical situation in the Morrison Hall Public Safety Office. An employee, who reported he was knocked to the ground by a longboarder at Cretin and Summit Avenues, injuring his knee and elbow, was assisted by an officer.

On Sept. 17, 2014 at 4:39 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in the Morrison Hall Public Safety Office. A St. Thomas student was found to have submitted an electronic building access request under a St. Thomas employee’s name without authorization.

On Sept. 17, 2014 at 4:39 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to disorderly conduct in Anderson Student Center. A non-affiliated individual, who caused a disturbance at a St. Thomas-hosted event, was identified by officers and trespassed from campus.

On Sept. 17, 2014 at 10:16 p.m., Public Safety responded to a neighbor complaint near Goodrich Avenue and PUBLIC_SAFETY_THUMB8Mississippi River Boulevard. A group of St. Thomas students on campus near the intersection were advised of proper noise levels.

On Sept. 18, 2014 at 12:29 a.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Brady Residence Hall. A resident advisor reported a St. Thomas student was found smoking an e-cigarette in violation of university tobacco policy.

On Sept. 18, 2014 at 11:18 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage outside of Morrison R2 Parking Garage. The entrance gate arm to the R2 had been struck and damaged, and cement from the base of the gate arm was damaged too.

On Sept. 18, 2014 at 10:57 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in O’Shaughnessy Education Center. An employee reported an unidentified person, who was possibly impaired, entered an office, made offensive comments to the employee, used the phone, then left.

On Sept. 19, 2014 at 8:19 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with an odor of marijuana in Ireland Residence Hall. A source for the odor on the second floor of Ireland Hall could not be determined upon officers’ investigation.

On Sept. 19, 2014 at 11:44 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a party complaint on the 1900 block of Iglehart Avenue. SPPD cleared a large group from an address on the block, cited two students for social host violation and two underage students for underage consumption.

On Sept. 20, 2014 at 7:44 a.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 2000 block of Iglehart Avenue. A St. Thomas neighbor reported multiple individuals at a neighboring property on the block left garbage and cans on his property.

On Sept. 20, 2014 at 12:38 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to an attempted robbery on the corner of Summit and Cleveland Avenues. A St. Thomas student reported his arm was cut when two unidentified suspects attempted to steal his property at knifepoint.

On Sept. 20, 2014 at 11:09 a.m., Public Safety documented a burst pipe on the South Athletic Field. A burst water pipe caused a large amount of water to flood in the area behind a dugout.

On Sept. 20, 2014 at 7:21 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical situation at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A St. Thomas student injured his thumb playing rugby was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On Sept. 21, 2014 at 2:11 a.m., Public Safety responded to public urination outside of Murray-Herrick Campus Center. An unaffiliated individual, urinating outside of Murray Herrick, was identified by officers and sent off campus.

On Sept. 21, 2014 at 2:07 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to liquor law violation in LOT A. Two underage intoxicated St. Thomas students, one of whom had been operating a vehicle, were sent off campus with a sober caregiver.

On Sept. 21, 2014 at 7:28 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Anderson Student Center. A St. Thomas student’s wallet, turning in as found property inventory, was found to contain a fake ID.
