2014 Tommie Award Nominee: Erin Windschitl

Erin Windschitl, communication and journalism major, 3.45 GPA

Windschitl is from Sartell, Minn. At St. Thomas, she participates in Sigma Tau Delta, the Student Legacy Program, the senior class gift committee and is a member of the varsity women’s swim team.

Windschitl said her favorite St. Thomas memory is being part of the swim and dive family for four years and “all the friendships that (she has) gained from being a part of that family.” She also said she is proud of maintaining her GPA despite her busy schedule.

Windschitl said many students might not know that for one month, she spent time camping and canoeing in the Canadian wilderness without access to electricity.

Windschitl said she is not yet sure of her post-graduation plans, but she is pursuing a job in communication.
