Chad Berg, financial management and economics major, 4.0

Berg is from Rosemount, Minnesota. He is involved in Summit Singers, Undergraduate Student Government, STAR, the board of trustees finance committee and Sigma Tau Omega.

As the founder of Summit Singers, Berg said his greatest accomplishment is bringing the group together and leading them to where they are today. His favorite St. Thomas memory is when the Summit Singers performed at Relay for Life, singing “Be Still” by The Fray in honor of all who have lost their fight with cancer.

Continuing his love for music in an unexpected way, Berg said many may not know that he enjoys teaching himself how to play novelty instruments such as the ukelele and the Irish whistle.

Following a trip to Peru with St. Thomas’ Festival Choir after graduation, Berg plans to start a job in finance or economics while staying close to his Midwest roots.
