Kara Gamelin, entrepreneurship and marketing major, 3.73 GPA

Gamelin is from Forest Lake, Minnesota. On campus, she is the co-chair of the Homecoming Committee and works for STAR.

As a Tommie, Gamelin said her greatest accomplishment is taking second place in the Fowler Business Competition, despite having only two months to prepare. Though Gamelin said she has many great memories of St. Thomas, her favorite is a day during finals of her sophomore year when the weather was warm and students were out on campus studying for finals in a cohesive atmosphere.

Coming from a family of competitive skiers, Gamelin said an interesting fact about her is she considers herself a die-hard skier, both water and snow, and competes as well.

In the future, Gamelin plans on become a corporate event planner, setting up conventions and expositions for businesses.
