More than 70 clubs set up booths Tuesday for the Spring Activities Fair. Although many students had already attended the Fall Activities Fair, this event gave them another opportunity to get involved in an activity they may have previously overlooked.

Freshman Erin Windschitl, who is already on the swim team, came to the fair to see how she could get more involved.

Freshmen Dustin Sherrill, first, Allison Kibler, second, and Keenan Herlocker, third, talk about their experiences at the Spring Activities Fair and with other clubs on campus.

“I’m thinking about joining VIA [Volunteers in Action] and I’m just kind of checking everything else out,” said Windschitl.

Clubs also needed to recruit new members to fill the spots of students who chose not to participate this semester.

Some clubs used music, creative displays and other assorted objects bearing the club’s name to attract attention and encourage students to get involved this semester.
