Public Safety briefs – Nov. 12, 2015

On Nov. 2 at 11:39 a.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity at 2171 Grand Ave. Residence Life reported that a residence that was supposed to be unoccupied appeared to have been accessed without authorization.

On Nov. 2 at 3:59 p.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a medical on the North Athletic Field. A student who had dislocated his knee was transported to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Nov. 2 at 5:14 p.m. Public Safety reported a vehicle accident on the 30 block of Finn Street. An unidentified individual who backed into a parked vehicle became disorderly when approached by an officer and then left the area.

On Nov. 3 at 2:42 p.m. Public Safety assisted Tommie Central staff in the Anderson Student Center. Movie tickets, initially thought to have been stolen from Tommie Central, were later found to have been misplaced.

On Nov. 4 at 4:06 p.m. Public Safety documented a sexual assault at an unknown off-campus location. The Dean of Student’s Office reported it learned of the incident through a blog post.

On Nov. 4 at 8:58 p.m. Public Safety assisted a St. Thomas employee outside of John Roach Center. An employee reported a student told her she would be missing class due to being a victim of a crime.

On Nov. 6 at 3:50 p.m. Public Safety documented fraud in Dowling Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported she had cash stolen as a result of an online virus scam.

On Nov. 7 at 11:26 a.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity on Moore Street, between Selby and Laurel avenues. The parent of a St. Thomas student reported their student observed an unidentified individual behaving strangely in the alley outside their residence.

On Nov. 7 at 1:26 a.m. Public Safety responded to public urination outside of the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. An underage, intoxicated St.Thomas student was sent off campus with a family member.

On Nov. 8 at 5:58 p.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a medical in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. A St. Thomas student who experienced a seizure was assisted by medics and escorted home.
