Business is booming in new athletic center

The Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex is still seeing a high number of users a month after its opening.

But the complex will be even more crowded starting Oct. 1.

“We’re looking forward to our alumni memberships and our community memberships,” Athletic Director Steve Fritz said.

St. Thomas alumni are eligible to purchase memberships for $615. Only 200 memberships will be available every year, and they will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Likewise, 100 community memberships will be sold annually. The price for community members will be $740 per year.

Students who graduated from St. Thomas in May of 2010 are eligible for a free membership for a year.
