Tommie lacrosse faces Davenport in semifinals at 3 p.m.

The No. 1-ranked men’s lacrosse team continues play at 3 p.m. today in Denver at the Division III national championships. St. Thomas plays No. 5 Davenport University (Mich.).

St. Thomas opened up the tournament with a 22-3 trouncing of Sam Houston Sate (Texas), advancing to the quarterfinals where it faced off with Grove City College (Pa.). The Tommies dispatched of the Wolverines 16-6, advancing to today’s matchup with the Panthers.

The winner of the St. Thomas and Davenport matchup will face No. 3 Utah Valley University for the national championship.
