St. Thomas volleyball loses 3-1 to Omaha after strong start

Sophomore outside hitter Lauren Galvin led the St. Thomas volleyball team with 12 kills in a 3-1 loss to Nebraska-Omaha Thursday at Schoenecker Arena. The Tommies (3-21, 1-11 Summit League) took the first set from the Mavericks (14-8, 9-3) but could not carry the momentum against the No. 3 team in the Summit League

The St. Thomas football team defeated Drake University 21-14 Saturday, St. Thomas men and women’s swim and dive teams both placed last against St. Cloud State University and Minnesota State University-Mankato, the St. Thomas women’s volleyball team lost in three sets to Oral Roberts in Tulsa and the St. Thomas women’s basketball team lost its home opener to Illinois State 70-55 on Saturday.
