Phil Vassar rocks a few hundred students outside on South Campus

Country singer Phil Vassar kicked off the annual spring concerts Saturday with an outdoor performance in Lot O on South Campus.

Chuck Wicks opened the show, which a few hundred students attended. The event was put on by STAR. Jordin Sparks closed the night out with a show of her own at 10 p.m. in the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.

  1. Vassar put on a great show. It’s too bad so many people missed out.

  2. I would like to comment that there is more than 200 people in there…

  3. Well, if the attendance for the two concerts isn’t proof enough that the student body wasn’t impressed with the selection of Vassar and Sparks then I’m not sure what is…
