Public Safety briefs

On July 23 at 6:15 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage on McNeely Hall. Chalk graffiti was found on an exterior MacPhail wall.

On July 23 at 4:39 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious person on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. The individual, initially reported as a suspect in a previous incident, was identified as a UST alumnus.

On July 24 at 10:02 p.m., Public Safety reported vehicle damage in LOT M. A UST student reported his parked vehicle was struck, causing minor damage.

On July 24 at 11:37 p.m., Public Safety responded to a policy violation in Flynn Residence Hall. Three underage UST students were found to have removed a smoke detector in FRH in order to use cigarettes, and were consuming alcohol too.

On July 25 at 3:48 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in LOT A. An underage intoxicated UST student was sent home with a parent.

On July 25 at 6:22 a.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical at the intersection of 10th Street and Hennepin Avenue. HCMC Medics transported an unidentified unresponsive individual to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On July 25 at 2:53 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Morrison Hall R1 Ramp. A card reader in the ramp was found damaged.

On July 26 at 2:36 a.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person near the intersection of Cleveland and Summit Avenue. An intoxicated UST alumnus of legal drinking age was sent home with a family member.

On July 27 at 4:21 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST parent in Morrison Hall. The parent wished to provide medical information regarding their incoming UST student.

On July 27 at 11:11 p.m., Public Safety responded to an all campus power failure. A hardware failure with the utility provider caused the power loss, but no injuries or damage were reported.
