Public Safety briefs

On Sept. 26 at 12:24 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a noise/party complaint on the 1800 block of Marshall Avenue. SPPD cleared a large group of people from an address on the block and cited two UST students for a social host violation.

On Sept. 27 at 3:20 a.m., Public Safety and the Minneapolis Police Department responded to an intoxicated individual outside on the 1000 block of LaSalle Avenue. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was sent home with a friend.

On Sept. 27 at 10:27 a.m., Public Safety reported a theft from vehicle on the 2200 block of Summit Avenue. A UST student reported his vehicle was broken into and several pieces of personal property were stolen.

On Sept. 28 at 12:55 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident on the 2000 block of Laurel Avenue. A UST student reported an unidentified individual came to their residence and asked if they had a room to rent.

On Sept. 29 at 11:27 p.m., Public Safety responded to a drug possession outside of Ireland Residence Hall. A UST student was found in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

On Sept. 29 at 11:47 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious person outside of Anderson Recreation Center. An unidentified individual, who approached two students and asked for identification, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On Sept. 30 at 2:04 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage on North Athletic Field. A UST employee reported a section of the windscreen along the fence had been cut out and removed.

On Oct. 1 at 3:31 p.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in Koch Commons. An underage intoxicated UST student and an underage intoxicated guest were sent home with a parent.

On Oct. 2 at 9:59 p.m., Public Safety, St. Paul Police Department, and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical at Anderson Recreation Center. A severely intoxicated UST student was transported by Medics to an area hospital or further medical attention.

On Oct. 3 at 4:55 p.m., Public Safety reported a medical at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minn. A parent of a UST student reported the student fell and was injured while attending the SJU-UST football game.

On Oct. 4 at 12:36 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident on the 100 block of Cretin Avenue. A UST student reported a group of unidentified individuals threw eggs at them from a vehicle and fled the area.
