Public Safety briefs

On Oct. 5 at 11:05 a.m., Public Safety reported a disturbance on the 1800 block of Portland Avenue. A relative of a UST student reported the St. Paul Police Department responded to the student’s address on a report of an unidentified individual peeping at the student’s windows.

On Oct. 5 at 10:57 p.m., Public Safety, St. Paul Police Department, and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to the intersection of Cretin Avenue and Summit Avenue for a medical. A UST student struck by a vehicle was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Oct. 6 at 1:23 p.m., Public Safety responded to reckless driving in Morrison R3 Ramp. A UST student was found to have driven through the ramp at a high rate of speed.

On Oct. 6 at 7:09 p.m., Public Safety reported a liquor law violation at St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN. SJU Life Safety reported three underage UST students were found in possession of alcohol.

On Oct. 7 at 10:51 p.m., Public Safety reported a disturbance on the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue. A UST neighbor reported a bus dropped off a loud group of people on the block.

On Oct. 9 at 12:34 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a noise/party complaint on the 1600 block of Carroll Avenue. SPPD cleared approximately 100 people from a residence on the block.

On Oct. 10 at 1:28 a.m., Public Safety reported a theft on the 100 block of Fairview Avenue. A UST student reported a laptop was stolen from their residence.

On Oct. 10 at 3:58 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated UST student and an underage intoxicated guest were sent off campus with family members, while a third underage student was found to have consumed alcohol.

On Oct. 11 at 8:27 a.m., Public Safety reported vehicle damage on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A non-UST affiliated individual reported the driver’s side window of their vehicle was smashed.

On Oct. 11 at 2:25 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Four suspicious compact discs, recovered by a UST employee, were secured as found property inventory.
