Public Safety briefs

On Oct. 12 at 8:05 a.m., Public Safety reported a theft from vehicle near the intersection of Summit Avenue and North Albert Street. The front passenger window of a UST student’s vehicle was smashed and several pieces of personal property were taken, but later recovered.

On Oct. 12 at 4:21 p.m., Public Safety reported a noise/party complaint on the South Athletic Field. A UST neighbor reported complained of loud noise coming from a UST event on SAF.

On Oct. 13 at 10:56 a.m.,Public Safety reported a theft outside of Brady Education Center. A UST student reported her bicycle was stolen from a bike rack outside of BEC.

On Oct. 13 at 1:05 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft in Morrison Hall. A UST student, whose wallet was turned in as found property inventory, reported their check card had been taken from the wallet.

On Oct. 14 at 4:57 p.m., Public Safety reported unauthorized use in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported an unidentified individual created social networking profiles with her name and photos without her authorization.

On Oct. 14 at 2:04 a.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious person in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A non-UST affiliated individual, who a UST student reporting seeing previously on campus behaving suspiciously, was identified by officers and escorted off campus.

On Oct. 15 at 6:44 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious odor outside of John Paul II Residence Hall. Two UST students were found in possession of a suspicious herbal substance.

On Oct. 16 at 1:48 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to disorderly conduct at the intersection of Marshall Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. An underage UST student, who was disorderly with officers, received multiple citations from and was arrested by SPPD.

On Oct. 17 at 1:43 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation outside of Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. An underage intoxicated UST student and an underage intoxicated guest were sent home with parents.

On Oct. 18 at 11:17 a.m., Public Safety reported fraud in Morrison Hall. A UST employee reported a UST misappropriated financial aid funds.

On Oct. 18 at 11:22 p.m., Public Safety reported to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student who burned their hand was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.

On Oct. 19 at 3:43 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A severely intoxicated underage UST student was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Oct. 20 at 4:20 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Cretin Hall. An impaired UST student was sent home with a parent.

On Oct. 21 at 12:40 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported they were having a dispute with a rental property owner regarding the return of deposit.

On Oct. 21 at 9:49 p.m., Public Safety reported an attempted robbery at 2057 Marshall Avenue. A UST student reported an unidentified individual attempted to rob the Marshall Stop convenience store, then fled the area.
