Public Safety briefs

On Oct. 22 at 2:42 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Cretin Residence Hall. A first floor interior window was found damaged.

On Oct. 23 at 11:31 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Flynn Residence. An activated pull station was determined to be the cause of the alarm, no smoke or fire was present.

On Oct. 23 at 11:35 p.m., Public Safety responded to disorderly conduct outside of Koch Commons. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age, who became belligerent with officers, was cited for disorderly conduct by the St. Paul Police Department and driven home by SPPD.

On Oct. 24 at 12:41 a.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student outside of Anderson Recreation Center. A UST student filed a complaint regarding their removal from a dance at ARC.

On Oct. 24 at 6:29 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in 2109 Grand Ave. Multiple items in violation of UST housing policy were confiscated from a UST student’s residence.

On Oct. 25 at 5:54 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Minneapolis Opus Hall. A UST employee reported a piece of UST artwork was missing from the 4th floor of MOH.

On Oct. 26 at 1:37 a.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious person at John Paul II Residence Hall. An unidentified individual, who approached a student in the JP2 vestibule and asked for assistance finding a place to sleep, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On Oct. 26 at 1:14 p.m., Public Safety reported harassment in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported she received unwanted contact from a former acquaintance who had previously trespassed campus.

On Oct. 27 at 5:14 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. The glass pane of an exterior door was damaged due to inclement weather.

On Oct. 27 at 11:17 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student stuck in a residence in St. John Vianney. The door to the student’s residence, which had a malfunctioning lock, was forced open, allowing the student to exit their residence.

On Oct. 28 at 7:39 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident near 11th Street and Harmon Place. A non-UST affiliated individual reported an unidentified individual accosted them near the intersection.

On Oct. 28 at 2:55 p.m., Public Safety reported unauthorized use of UST computer resources in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. Pornographic images were found saved on a UST computer in LIB.

On Oct. 28 at 11:21 p.m., Public Safety reported a disturbance at the intersection of Marshall Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. A large group of people gather near the intersection later boarded a bus and left the area.

On Oct. 29 at 1:15 a.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Two UST students and a guest failed to evacuate IRE during a fire alarm.

On Oct. 29 at 2:12 a.m., Public Safety reported a theft in John Paul II Residence Hall. A UST student reported their bedding was stolen from the JP2 laundry room.

On Oct. 29 at 2:49 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A UST employee reported they found feces in a LIB bathroom sink.

On Oct. 29 at 1:38 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in the Grotto. White marker graffiti was found on the GRO railing.
