Public Safety briefs

On Feb. 15 at 1:11 a.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious incident in Dowling Residence Hall. An unidentified male, reported to have entered the building through an exterior alarm door, could not be located upon officers’ search of DOW.

On Feb. 15 at 7:41 a.m., Public Safety documented harassment in Morrison Hall. A non-UST affiliated individual reported on behalf of a UST student that the student was receiving unwanted contact from a second student.

On Feb. 15 at 1:54 p.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident at the 11th Street and Harmon Place parking ramp. A UST student reported she was approached by an unidentified individual asking her for directions to an unknown address.

On Feb. 15 at 8:01 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Brady Residence Hall. A UST student was found to have used and was in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

On Feb. 16 at 9:39 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident on the 2100 block of Grand Avenue. A UST student reported an unidentified individual approached them, and then left the area after the student told the individual to stay away.

On Feb. 17 at 1:08 a.m., Public Safety and SPFD medics responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A severely intoxicated UST student was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Feb. 18 at 1:10 a.m., Public Safety reported a theft in Ireland Residence Hall. A UST student reported an unsecured textbook was stolen from the IRE computer lab.

On Feb. 19 at 2:58 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. Four underage UST students were found to have consumed alcohol.

On Feb. 20 at 1:02 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation on the Lower Quad. Two underage intoxicated UST students and three underage intoxicated guests were sent off campus with a parent.

On Feb. 21 at 12:26 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft in Morrison Hall. A UST employee reported several signs noting floor numbers were stolen from the MOR stairwells.

On Feb. 21 at 4:46 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST neighbor by documenting a snow removal concern on the 2200 block of Summit Avenue. The neighbor reported snow removed from UST was later plowed onto their driveway.

On Feb. 21 at 6:27 p.m., Public Safety reported a burglary in Brady Residence Hall. A UST student reported their wallet and cash was stolen from their residence.

On Feb. 22 at 9:55 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage at the McNeely Hall parking ramp. A UST student forcibly raised the ramp exit gate arm, damaging the gate.
