Public Safety briefs

On April 3 at 2:51 a.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious incident in John Paul II Residence Hall. A report of an intoxicated male wandering the building could not be verified upon officers’ search of the building.

On April 3 at 2:53 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to intoxicated individuals in Morrison Hall. An intoxicated UST student and an intoxicated guest of legal drinking age were sent off campus with a sober caregiver.

On April 3 at 10:29 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Morrison Hall. A door was forcibly removed from a sixth floor drier.

On April 3 at 11:29 p.m., Public Safety and Saint Paul Police Department responded to a theft from vehicle at the intersection of Selby Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. A UST student reported their secured vehicle was accessed without authorization, and several pieces of personal property were stolen.

On April 4 at 9:04 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex. A handle & lock were forcibly removed from a first floor door.

On April 4 at 10:46 a.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue. A UST student reported a purse was stolen from their unsecured residence.

On April 4 at 1:36 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious incident at School of Divinity. A non-UST affiliated individual, who claimed to be cleaning in the building, was identified by officers and trespassed from campus.

On April 5 at 3:56 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Anderson Parking Facility. A UST student was found to have used their ID to improperly access the ramp.

On April 5 at 5:21 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in LOT G. A disorderly UST student refused to identify themselves when requested by an officer.

On April 5 at 5:22 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation at Anderson Parking Facility. A UST student used their ID to let another individual out of the ramp without authorization.

On April 6 at 12:52 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious incident in Terrence Murphy Hall. A non-UST affiliated individual, reported to have fled from officers with the Minneapolis Community and Technical College Public Safety department, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On April 6 at 5:11 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage at 2019 Grand Avenue. White paint graffiti was found on an exterior air conditioning unit.

On April 7 at 5:09 p.m., Public Safety and the Saint Paul Police Department responded to a theft in Sitzman Hall. A UST guest reported their unsecured laptop and wallet were stolen from a classroom.

On April 7 at 11:46 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage at O’Shaughnessy- Frey Library Center. Two unidentified individuals, spray painting graffiti on an exterior LIB wall, fled the area prior to officers’ arrival.
