Public Safety briefs

On April 21 at 12:46 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a neighbor complaint on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A small group of unidentified individuals, reported loitering in a UST neighbor’s yard, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On April 21 at 2:12 p.m., Public Safety documented a sexual assault that occurred off campus. An incident previously reported to St. Catherine University Public Safety, as well as reported to the UST community via alert, was documented in a Public Safety report.

On April 21 at 2:13 p.m., Public Safety documented a sexual assault in Flynn Residence Hall. An incident previously reported to a campus security authority, as well as reported to the UST community via alert, was documented in a Public Safety report.

On April 21 at 2:19 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Morrison Hall. A UST employee reported confidential documents were missing from their office.

On April 22 at 3:20 a.m., Public Safety assisted a UST parent in Morrison Hall. The parent requested to file a complaint against a UST employee.

On April 22 at 3:20 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation on the Upper Quad. Three underage UST students were found to have consumed alcohol, two of the students were intoxicated and were sent home with a parent.

On April 22 at 12:57 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Flynn FRH Residence Hall. A UST student, who requested access to the residence of another student, was denied access to the residence.

On April 23 at 2:29 a.m., Public Safety and the Saint Paul Police Department Marshall responded to a neighbor complaint on the 2100 block of Marshall Avenue. SPPD cleared 10-20 individuals from a residence on the block.

On April 25 at 9:30 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Dowling Residence Hall. A wild turkey flew through a first floor east lounge window.

On April 26 at 3:37 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Murray- Herrick Campus Center. A UST employee reported three UST televisions were missing from MHC.

On April 26 at 2:29 p.m., Public Safety reported a burglary in Brady Residence Hall. Two UST students reported several pieces of personal property were stolen from their residence.

On April 27 at 1:58 p.m., Public Safety documented theft in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported they received a fraudulent check as part of an online scam.

On April 27 at 7:15 p.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident near the intersection of Cretin and Dayton avenues. Two UST students reported while walking near the intersection an unidentified individual in a vehicle followed them and made lewd gestures.

On April 28 at 12:46 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in LOT A. A suspicious note was found on a UST student’s vehicle.

On April 28 at 9:47 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. An object was thrown through a second floor MHC window.

On April 28 at 9:49 p.m., Public Safety reported theft in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Three UST students were found to have stolen plants from the cafeteria.

On April 28 at 9:55 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft in Minneapolis Opus Hall. A UST student reported their unsecured wallet was stolen from a second floor classroom.

On April 29 at 5:46 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in LOT G. A UST guest reported that an unidentified individual in a vehicle followed them when the guest left LOT G in their own vehicle.

On April 30 at 2:01 a.m., Public Safety and Saint Paul Police Department responded to a suspicious incident in Koch Commons. A non-UST affiliated individual making offensive comments to a UST student was identified by officers, trespassed and escorted off campus by SPPD.

On April 30 at 2:13 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Police Department responded to an intoxicated individual outside of Koch Commons. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was transported by SPPD to Detox.

On May 1 at 12:46 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage at McCarthy Gym. An interior door was found damaged.
