Public Safety briefs

On May 20 at 1:58 a.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student near the intersection of Wilder Street and Ashland Avenue. A UST student with a cut foot was escorted to their off campus residence by an officer.

On May 20 at 2:45 a.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. A UST student and guest reported that an unidentified individual was aggressive and belligerent towards them then fled the area.

On May 20 at 12:04 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 1900 block of Dayton Avenue. A UST neighbor reported several pieces of unsecured property were stolen from the porch of their residence.

On May 20 at 11:17 p.m., Public Safety documented public urination on the 2000 block of Fairmount Avenue. A UST neighbor reported to the St. Paul Police Department that an unidentified individual urinated in their yard.

On May 21 at 12:45 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a noise/party complaint on the 1700 block of Iglehart Avenue. SPPD cited two underage UST students for underage consumption and cited three UST students for a social host violation.

On May 21 at 2:04 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in McNeely Hall. A non-UST affiliated individual, previously identified as a suspect in office burglaries/thefts on campus, was identified as being in MCH, but could not be located upon officer’s search of the area.

On May 21 at 5:02 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex. A UST employee complaining of shortness of breath was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On May 21 at 8:47 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported that her and a guest’s debit cards were stolen from the student’s unsecured residence.

On May 22 at 12:52 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a noise/neighbor complaint on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. SPPD advised the residents of an address on the block of proper noise levels.

On May 23 at 2:32 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage at Anderson Parking Facility. A UST guest reported a vehicle struck the exit gate arm, damaging the gate arm.

On May 24 at 12:08 p.m., Public Safety assisted the St. Paul Police Department in Morrison Hall. SPPD was provided contact information for a UST student whose wallet was recovered by SPPD at an off campus location.

On May 24 at 3:24 p.m., Public Safety documented a outside of Ireland Residence Hall. A UST resident reported their secured bicycle was stolen from the bike rack outside of IRE.

On May 25 at 6:50 p.m., Public Safety documented vehicle damage on Portland Avenue. A UST student reported their vehicle was broken into.

On May 26 at 4:56 p.m., Public Safety documented a welfare check in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported to Public Safety that a second student, who the Dean of Students Office was attempting to contact, returned home and was OK.
