Public Safety briefs

On June 28 at 7:21 a.m., A UST contract employee reported property damage outside of Anderson Parking Facility. A section of construction fence between APF and North Athletic Field was found knocked over and damaged.

On June 29 at 8:09 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a gas leak reported by a UST student in 2175 Grand Ave. The leak was determined to be coming from an extinguished pilot light in a stove in an unoccupied apartment.

On June 29 at 4:46 p.m., A UST neighbor reported reckless driving at the intersection of Cretin and Summit avenues. The neighbor reported that the ACTC shuttle bus passed through intersection as the neighbor had the right of way in the crosswalk, nearly striking them.

On June 30 at 4:47 p.m., A UST student reported disorderly conduct near the intersection of Fairview and Summit avenues. The student reported that an unidentified individual shoved them and challenged them to fight, then fled the scene on foot.

On July 1 at 8:03 a.m., A UST neighbor reported a noise/party complaint on the 1800 block of Carroll Avenue. The neighbor reported that several individuals at a residence on the block were making a lot of noise at a late hour.

On July 2 at 4:29 a.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical outside of Minneapolis Opus Hall. A non-UST affiliated individual, found passed out by officers outside of MOH, was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On July 3 at 6:30 a.m., A UST student reported a theft from vehicle in LOT U. A car stereo was stolen from the student’s vehicle.

On July 5 at 12:05 p.m., A UST employee reported vehicle damage in Flynn S1 Ramp. A parked UST vehicle was struck, damaging the rear of the vehicle.

On July 5 at 4:09 p.m., A UST employee reported a theft from Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Two pieces of pastoral clothing stolen from CHA were later recovered and returned to Campus Ministry.
