Public Safety briefs

On July 18 at 4:13 p.m., a UST employee reported a theft in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A package and other miscellaneous items were taken from the mail room.

On July 18 at 8:04 p.m., a UST student reported a suspicious incident outside of Seminary Residence. An unidentified individual, who was possibly intoxicated, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On July 20 at 10:19 a.m., a UST employee reported a theft in Child Development Center. Cash was stolen from the employee’s unsecured wallet.

On July 21 at 7:51 a.m., a UST employee reported a liquor law violation in Dowling Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated guest of a UST student, found passed out in the lower level DOW lounge, was trespassed from campus and sent home with a parent.

On July 21 at 2:03 p.m, a UST student reported a suspicious incident on the 2000 block of Dayton Avenue. An unidentified suspect, observed peeping through a window of the student’s window, fled the scene when observed by a second student.

On July 22 at 10:58 a.m, a UST employee reported vehicle damage in Morrison R2 Ramp. An unknown substance had dripped from a pipe onto the employee’s vehicle, staining the vehicle.

On July 22 at 10:34 p.m., a UST neighbor reported a noise complaint at the intersection of Wilder Street and Portland Avenue. A report of a loud bus idling in the area could not be verified upon officer’s search of the area.

On July 23 at 1:31 a.m., a UST neighbor reported a noise/party complaint on the 1800 block of Dayton Avenue. A group of people were observed outside of a residence on the block, but were not excessively loud.

On July 24 at 2:16 a.m., a UST neighbor reported a noise/party complaint near the intersection of Portland Avenue and Howell Street. Several individuals were observed going between two residences and causing a high volume of noise.

On July 24 at 12:22 p.m., a UST employee reported property damage in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. Several ceiling tiles on the second floor were damaged as a result of a water leak.

On July 24 at 5:35 p.m., a UST alumnus reported a theft outside of O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. The alum’s secured bicycle was stolen from the bike rack outside of OEC.

On July 25 at 1:51 a.m., Public Safety assisted a non-UST affiliated individual with a welfare check in Minneapolis School of Law. A UST student, who the individual was trying to reach by phone, was located in MSL and was OK.
