Public Safety briefs

On July 27 at 2:23 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student with a facial injury was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On July 27 at 3:47 p.m., a UST student reported a theft outside of Minneapolis School of Law. The student’s secured bicycle was stolen from the bike rack outside of MSL.

On July 27 at 10:26 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Grace Residence Hall. A UST guest who was not feeling well was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.

On July 28 at 6:09 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft at Brady Educational Center. Two exterior metal downspouts were forcibly removed from BEC.

On July 29 at 12:20 p.m., a UST alumnus reported a suspicious incident in John Roach Center. An unidentified male entered the first floor women’s restroom and fled the area when noticed by the alumnus.

On July 31 at 12:51 a.m., A UST neighbor reported a disturbance on Cleveland Avenue. A group of six bicyclists riding northbound on Cleveland Avenue were reported to be making a high volume of noise.

On Aug. 2, at 7:41 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a welfare check in Flynn Residence Hall. A UST student, who posted a suspicious message on a social networking site, was located at their residence and was OK.

On Aug. 2 at 9:02 a.m., Public Safety documented a campus wide power outage. Power was lost due to a severe storm.

On Aug. 2 at 11:11 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Terrence Murphy Hall. Several ceiling tiles were damaged as a result of a water leak.

On Aug. 4 at 8:15 a.m., A UST neighbor reported a noise/party complaint on the 1800 block of Roblyn Avenue. The neighbor reported ongoing concern regarding a residence on the block.

On Aug. 7 at 4:17 p.m., A UST neighbor reported property damage on the 300 block of Ferdinand Street. Six flowers pots were damaged at the neighbor’s residence.

On Aug. 8 at 10:23 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Aquinas Hall. A UST employee with a chest injury, as a result of being struck by an errant rock from a lawn mower, was assisted by an officer and declined medical attention.

On Aug. 8 at 10:44 a.m., Public Safety assisted the St. Paul Police Department with returning recovered property to a UST contract employee. Several pieces of the employee’s personal property, stolen in an off-campus incident, were recovered by SPPD.

On Aug. 8 at 6:28 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A UST camera on the first floor of LIB was discovered damaged.
