Public Safety briefs

On March 23 at 4:16 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A UST student’s organization poster was reportedly damaged.

On March 22 at 6:52 p.m., Public Safety responded to disorderly conduct on the Upper Quad. A disorderly non-UST affiliated individual who struck an officer was trespassed from campus.

On March 22 at 11:02 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Lot 3. The exit gate arm was broken off.

On March 20 at 9:58 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Dowling Residence Hall. A UST employee reported green marker graffiti in a lower level Dowling restroom.

On March 20 at 1:07 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage on the MacPhail Building. Black spray paint graffiti was found on an exterior wall.

On March 19 at 5:33 p.m., Public Safety reported fraud at a Walmart store in Fridley, Minn. Walmart loss prevention staff reported two non-UST affiliated individuals were arrested for attempting to cash fraudulent UST payroll checks.

On March 19 at 9:10 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage outside McNeely Hall. A UST student attempting to exit the ramp struck and damaged the card reader.

On March 18 at 1:32 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation outside of Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A UST student refused to present ID upon request of a UST official.

On March 18 at 10:37 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Morrison Hall. Flooding from a plumbing malfunction on the sixth floor damaged a large area of carpet.

On March 17 at 10:56 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life staff in Morrison Hall. An underage UST student, found present in a residence where alcohol was being consumed, was found to not have consumed alcohol.

On March 17 at 4:58 p.m., Public Safety reported a noise/party complaint on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A UST employee reported approximately 10 people were outside of a residence on the block drinking.
