Public Safety briefs

On Nov. 23 at 8:40 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Harmon Place Parking Ramp. A UST alumnus reported an unidentified individual became belligerent towards him over a parking space.

On Nov. 23 at 4:50 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Flynn Residence Hall. A water leak caused damage to ceiling tile in the first floor lobby area.

On Nov. 24 at 2:08 p.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 300 block of Ferdinand Street. A UST neighbor reported the St. Paul Police Department dispersed an unidentified group of people from the front of his yard.

On Nov. 24 at 4:30 p.m., Public Safety reported criminal damage to property outside of McNeely Hall . A UST statue outside of MCH was forcibly knocked off of its base damaging the statue.

On Nov. 25 at 9:34 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a noise complaint in Flynn Residence Hall. While investigating the complaint an underage UST student and three underage guests were found to have consumed and were in possession of alcohol.

On Nov. 26 at 2:48 a.m., Public Safety documented a disturbance on the 500 block of Pelham Boulevard. The St. Paul Police Department reported a loud group of unidentified individuals outside of a residence on the block fled when an SPPD officer attempted to identify them.

On Nov. 26 at 12:14 p.m., Public Safety documented a traffic complaint on an unknown block of Selby Avenue. A UST parent reported they observed a UST vehicle driving at an excessive speed on Selby Avenue.

On Nov. 28 at 10:02 p.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical outside of Terrence Murphy Hall. An unresponsive non-UST affiliated individual was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Nov. 29 at 5:39 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in Minneapolis School of Law. Two UST students reported their unsecured bag and briefcase, both containing personal property, were stolen from a second floor classroom.

On Nov. 29 at 7:01 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A UST student reported their unsecured backpack, containing personal property, was stolen from the commuter center.

On Nov. 29 at 8:17 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor of Marijuana in Ireland Residence Hall. The odor was determined to be coming from a UST student’s residence, but no contraband was found.

On Nov. 30 at 1:02 p.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A UST employee reported furniture in a secured office area had been moved around.

On Nov. 30 at 4:39 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor of marijuana in Ireland Residence Hall . A UST student was found in possession of marijuana related paraphernalia.

On Dec. 1 at 1:10 p.m., Public Safety documented a motor vehicle theft on the 2100 block of Dayton Avenue. A UST student reported her vehicle, which had been parked in front of her residence on the block, had been stolen.

On Dec. 1 at 2:14 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity at Macalester College . A suspicious person observed near bike racks on the Macalester campus, in possession of theft tools, was identified by the St. Paul Police Department and trespassed from Macalester.
