Public Safety briefs

On April 3 at 3:09 p.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 1800 block of Carroll Avenue. A UST neighbor reported several unidentified individuals who were urinating off of a deck at a residence on the block.  PublicSafety_Briefs_PHOTO

On April 3 at 9:22 p.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in Morrison R2 ramp. The exit gate arm was damaged when an unidentified vehicle improperly exited the ramp.

On April 4 at 2:41 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity near Mississippi River Boulevard and Ford Parkway. A non-UST affiliated individual reported an unidentified suspect in a vehicle, who asked her for directions, exposed himself to her.

On April 4 at 8:02 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student with a cut on his hand was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On April 5 at 12:55 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity on the 1900 block of Ashland Avenue. An unidentified individual, reported by a UST student to be walking through the area dragging a cinder block, could not be located upon officers’ search of the area.

On April 5 at 2:56 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a policy violation in Morrison Hall. Two UST students removed screens from two windows in their residence to gain access to a roof area and were in possession of UST property.

On April 6 at 8:19 p.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person outside of Flynn Residence Hall. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age, who was throwing patio furniture outside of FRH, was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.

On April 6 at 8:43 p.m., Public Safety documented a robbery on the 700 block of Marquette Avenue.The Minneapolis Police Department reported via the downtown Minneapolis radio link that a robbery occurred at a bank on the block.

On April 7 at 9:56 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to property damage underneath the bridge along the 60 block of Mississippi River Boulevard. An individual who spray painted graffiti underneath the bridge could not be located upon officers’ check of the area.

On April 7 at 11:31 p.m., The St. Paul Police Department and Public Safety responded to a neighbor complaint on the 1900 block of Roblyn Avenue. SPPD cleared approximately 30 people from a residence on the block, cited one underage UST student for underage consumption and cited four UST students for social host violations.

On April 8 at 3:06 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a liquor law violation in Dowling Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated English Language Services student was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.

On April 8 at 8:15 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to reckless driving on the 2100 block of Grand Avenue. A UST student admitted to driving while under the influence of alcohol and striking and damaging a UST employee’s parked vehicle in the alleyway between Summit and Grand Avenues.

On April 10 at at 2:42 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in John Roach Center. A UST employee reported prescription medication was shipped to the UST Psychology Department by an unknown individual.

On April 10 at 7:18 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Schulze Hall. A UST employee reported they received inappropriate e-mails messages from a student regarding a grading dispute.
