NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Quarterback Jacques Perra completed two touchdown passes of 61 and 80 yards Saturday at Klein Field as the Tommies led the Oles 64-0 at halftime.

Perra’s first touchdown came on the Tommies’ first possession of the game. Facing a fourth-and-three from their own 20-yard line, Perra rolled out to his right and found tight end Jackson Finn near midfield, who was able to outrun the Ole defense to the end zone.

Not to be outdone by the passing game, the St. Thomas running backs found the end zone five times, led by two touchdowns of 22 and 15 yards by running back Josh Parks.

The Tommie defense was well on its way to its fourth shutout of the season. Defensive back Michael Franzese intercepted Ole quarterback Jack Goldstein in the second quarter and ran it back 40 yards for the Tommies’ third defensive touchdown this season.

St. Thomas can clinch sole possession of the MIAC regular season title with a win against St. Olaf.
