Women’s hockey shuts out Augsburg on the road

 

Goalie Kenzie Torpy saved all 24 shots on goal to hold the Auggies to zero points, ending their seven-game win streak Saturday at Augsburg University.

The Tommies (8-2-1 overall, 4-1-1 MIAC) scored four goals from four different players: Isabel Bianchi, Estee Frantz, Allison Parnell and Katie Winiecki, to defeat the Auggies (6-2-1 overall, 4-1-1 MIAC) 4-0.

This win came after the teams tied at 1 Friday night in Mendota Heights.

St. Thomas will play its last game in 2017 against UW-River Falls on Dec. 13 at home.
