2013 Tommie Award Nominee: Bobby Ranallo

Bobby Ranallo, history and German double major, 3.4 GPA

Ranallo is from Lino Lakes, Minn. He is the Climbing Club president, German club vice president and an off-campus student services student adviser. Ranallo is a member of the Undergraduate Student Government and the History and Foreign Affairs club. He was also a summer orientation leader.

Ranallo said getting to take part in all of the different clubs and organizations on campus has been the best part of St. Thomas. He said an added perk was getting to meet “fantastic people” in the process.

He has studied German for eight years, and said he is fluent in the language.

Eventually, Ranallo said he wants to get his doctorate in history and become a professor.
