Dr. Joshua White is no stranger to the people of Haiti. More importantly, he is no stranger to the state of their health care system.

White, who is also in the health care MBA program at St. Thomas, has been traveling to Hatit for five years, slowly trying to reform the country’s health care system.

Since an earthquake shook the already impoverished country in Janurary, White has traveled there to provide medical assistance to those after the natural disaster. However, even though the wounded are slowly being treated, Dr. White still strives to heal the country’s wounded health care system.
