In-Depth — Student Evaluations

At the end of every semester, students have the option to fill out anonymous evaluations critiquing their courses and professors. According to a 2014 St. Thomas faculty survey, 54 percent of responding professors say they don’t think the evaluations reflect their teaching quality, while 20 percent think the evaluations are accurate.

Teaching evaluation committee member, Agapitos Papagapitos, joins reporter Simeon Lancaster to discuss the effectiveness of end of the year evaluations.
