1. That our culture considers sports to be news is a testament to its stupidity. Football in all its forms supported by the media has no other purpose except to keep us from thinking. Today football is the tool of the corporations to further transform us into good mindless consumers that are incapable of thinking anything substantive. Put simply, football is Mcdonalds for the mind.
