Public Safety briefs

On April 19 at 5:08 p.m., Public Safety documented an aggravated assault on the 800 block of Marquette Avenue in Minneapolis. A private security agency reported via the Minneapolis Downtown Radio Link that an unidentified individual was assaulted by an individual with a knife.  PublicSafety_Briefs_PHOTO

On April 19 at 7:47 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A number of fliers advertising a Twin Cities adult entertainment establishment, featuring a UST logo, were removed from posts on the campus side of the street and disposed of.

On April 20 at 1:21 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a medical near the intersection of Summit Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard. A non-UST affiliated individual who fell and injured their head while rollerblading was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On April 20 at 11:30 p.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person in Lot A. A severely intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was sent off campus with a parent.

On April 21 at 1:49 a.m., Public Safety responded to suspicious activity in the Upper Quad. A non-UST affiliated individual, who was untruthful with officers when questioned about why he was on campus, was identified and was trespassed from UST.

On April 21 at 10:58 p.m., Public Safety responded to burglary in Dowling Residence Hall. A UST student admitted to entering a second student’s residence without authorization and stealing a piece of personal property.

On April 22 at 12:51 a.m., Public Safety responded to public urination outside of Anderson Athletic and Recreation Center.Two underage UST students, both urinating on ARRC were found to have consumed alcohol, one was intoxicated and was sent home with a parent.

On April 22 at 12:52 p.m., Public Safety and the Minneapolis Police Department responded to an intoxicated person outside of the Minneapolis School of Law. An intoxicated non-UST affiliated individual, passed out outside of MSL, woke and left the area on foot prior to MPD’s arrival.

On April 23 at 10:39 a.m., Public Safety responded to suspicious activity in Aquinas Hall. Four non-UST affiliated juveniles reported attempting to open doors in the lower level of AQU were identified by officers and determined to be a part of a group visiting campus.

On April 24 at 3:04 p.m., Public Safety reported damage to property outside of Morrison Hall. Black spray paint graffiti was found at the top of the stairs leading to the east MOR entrance.

On April 24 at 10:51 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Dowling Residence Hall. A UST student, who was previously treated for a burn on her leg, was provided a new sterile dressing by an officer and declined further medical attention.
