TommieMedia has received two opposing views on Minnesota’s marriage amendment, which is up for a vote on Nov. 4.  Logo_Letters_1

Junior Chris Gelke wrote a letter on behalf of the Vote No side, and senior Annie Kopacek wrote a letter on behalf of the Vote Yes side.

The ballot measure is as follows:

“Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to provide that only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Minnesota?”

A yes vote would support the amendment. A no vote would not support the amendment.
