Public Safety briefs

On Sept. 14 at 2:06 a.m., A UST employee reported property damage in Ireland Residence Hall. A guest of a UST student damaged a sink in a second floor restroom, causing extensive flooding.

On Sept. 14 at 1:06 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in John Roach Center. A UST student who felt faint was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On Sept. 15 at 4:07 p.m., Public Safety and SPFD responded to a false fire alarm in Summit Classroom Building. The alarm was determined to be as a result of an unauthorized activation of a pull station.

On Sept. 15 at 7:25 p.m., A UST employee reported property damage in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center (OEC). A table in a third floor office area was found to have a damaged leg.

On Sept. 16 at 12:29 a.m., Public Safety reported an odor of marijuana in Dowling Residence Hall (DOW). An underage UST student was found to be in possession of alcohol, marijuana and related paraphernalia.

On Sept. 16 at 1:23 a.m., A UST employee reported a suspicious incident outside of Ireland Residence Hall. Two unidentified individuals shouting outside of IRE left campus prior to officers’ arrival.

On Sept. 17 at 9:28 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Police Department responded to an intoxicated individual near Fairview Avenue and Grand Avenue. An intoxicated non-UST affiliated individual was identified by SPPD and sent home with friends.

On Sept. 17 at 11:26 p.m., Public Safety reported a noise/party complaint on the 1700 block of Dayton Avenue. SPPD cleared several individuals from a residence on the block and cited two non-UST affiliated individuals for underage consumption.

On Sept. 18 at 9:46 a.m., A UST neighbor reported a complaint on the 2000 block of Grand Avenue. The neighbor reported that residents of an address on the block were obstructing the alleyway between Grand Avenue and Summit Avenue with their vehicles.

On Sept. 18 at 11:19 p.m., A UST student reported a suspicious incident in Dowling Residence Hall. The student stated a laser light was being directed to her residence from an unknown location in Flynn Residence Hall.

On Sept. 19 at 6:39 p.m., A UST student reported a theft in Dowling Residence Hall. The student’s iPod was stolen from their secured residence.

On Sept. 19 at 7:13 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A UST student who suffered a shoulder injury while playing football was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Sept. 20 at 9:42 p.m., A UST student reported a theft on the 1900 block of Grand Avenue. The student’s unsecured bicycle was stolen from outside of their residence.

On Sept. 20 at 9:51 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student with a head injury was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.
