On Sept. 10, 2014 at 7:56 a.m., Public Safety responded to a smoke alarm in St. John Vianney. A St. Thomas student was found to have tampered with and damaged a smoke detector in the St. John Vianney residence.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 8:27 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft from a motor vehicle on the 2000 block of Ashland Avenue. A St. Thomas student’s backpack, forcibly taken from her secured vehicle, was later recovered and turned in as fund property inventory.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 12:26 p.m., Public Safety documented a motor vehicle accident in Morrison R2 Parking Garage. A St. Thomas alumnus reported he struck a student’s parked vehicle, causing minor damage to the rear of the vehicle.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 10:41 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity near Cleveland and Carroll Avenues. A St. Thomas student reported an unidentified individual followed her while she walked to her off-campus residence.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 5:23 p.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 2000 block of Marshall Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported an unknown suspect forcibly entered an apartment building on the block and burglarized several storage units.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 8:52 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity outside of Binz Refectory. A St. Thomas student reported an unidentified individual made unwanted contact with her.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 9:07 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft from motor vehicle on the 2000 block of Laurel Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported the driver’s side window of his parked vehicle was smashed and cash was taken.

On Sept. 10, 2014 at 11:16 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a drug law violation in Ireland Hall. Two St. Thomas students were found in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

On Sept. 11, 2014 at 6:43 p.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in the Schulze Hall loading dock. A St. Thomas employee reported he struck a call box with a St. Thomas vehicle, causing minor damage to the vehicle.

On Sept. 11, 2014 at 8:22 a.m., Public Safety responded to suspicious activity in Schulze Hall. A non-affiliated person, that an employee encountered sitting in darkened lounge area and later found in a secluded conference room, was identified by officers and trespassed.

On Sept. 11, 2014 at 10:45 a.m., Public Safety reported suspicious activity in Lot A. An unidentified individual, smoking with a glass pipe in a vehicle parked in the lot, fled the area upon being observed and approached by an officer.

On Sept. 12, 2014 at 5:19 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical emergency in Ireland Hall. A student who reported being disoriented and experiencing memory loss was taken to an area medical facility by a family member for further medical attention.

On Sept. 12, 2014 at 9:24 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A St. Thomas guest who fell and struck her head was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.

On Sept. 12, 2014 at 8:54 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Police responded to a liquor law violation at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A juvenile non-affiliated individual, who consumed alcohol, was cited by SPPD for underage consumption and sent home with a parent.

On Sept. 13 at 8:49 p.m., Public Safety responded to public urination on the 80 block of Cleveland Avenue. An underage St. Thomas student, urinating near Lot G, was found to have consumed alcohol.

On Sept. 14 at 12:56 a.m., Public Safety documented driving while impaired near Marshall and Cretin Avenues. The St. Paul Police Department reported an intoxicated underage St. Thomas student was arrested.

On Sept. 14 at 6:22 a.m., Public Safety reported criminal damage to property in Lot G. A St. Thomas student was found to have forcibly removed the admissions sign from its postings.

On Sept. 14 at 8:48 a.m., Public Safety documented a fake ID in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. The St. Paul Police Department reported a St. Thomas student’s purse, recovered as found property off campus, was found to contain a fake ID.

On Sept. 15 at 12:33 a.m., Public Safety reported suspicious activity in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. Several harassing, offensive messages were found posted about a St. Thomas student through a social media application.

On Sept. 15 at 3:58 a.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Police Department responded to an intoxicated person in Byrne Residence. An intoxicated non-St. Thomas affiliated individual, passed out in the lobby of Byrne, was trespassed from campus and taken to detox by the St. Paul Police Department.

On Sept. 15 at 12:21 p.m., Public Safety documented a sex offense at an unknown location on Grand Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported an unidentified victim reported criminal sexual conduct at an unknown off-campus location.
