Worst MN flu season in years hits campus

Health officials said that this could be the worst flu season that has put just as many patients in the hospital as H1N1 did, and it didn’t skip senior Shannon Carleton.

Right after she won free tickets to a holiday concert, she suddenly came down with a sickness that sent her to the hospital.

TommieMedia director Hannah Anderson found out how the St. Thomas community can dodge the flu bug that has sent more than 297 Minnesotans to the hospital.
