Francen is from Ham Lake, Minn. She has been a part of the Aquinas Scholars Honors program, Chemistry club, Tommie Ambassadors and Pre-Health club.

Francen said although she is proud of her academic record, she is more enthusiastic about the relationships she’s formed during her time at St. Thomas. Her favorite memory was making a periodic table out of cupcakes during a Chemistry club meeting.

A unique fact about Francen is that two of her favorite activities are waterskiing and wakeboarding, and she has done both since she was young.

Francen said she is deciding which medical school to attend after she graduates, and she hopes to become a family practice physician.
