Ranitha Rajaratnam, human resources management major, 3.08 GPA

Rajaratnam is from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is a Residence Hall Association representative, a National Residence Hall Honorary member and on the senior class gift committee. Rajaratnam was formerly a leader for the Gender Matters retreat, and she has been either an apartment coordinator or resident adviser for the past three years.

Rajaratnam said “breaking out of her shell” through the international student program has been her greatest accomplishment at St. Thomas, and she said the best part of being a Tommie has been developing relationships working in Residence Life.

Rajaratnam said many students probably don’t know that she used to be able to yodel, but can’t anymore.

Rajaratnam said she hopes to find a job as a talent recruiter after graduation.
