In Depth – Anxiety among college students

According to a 2013 American College Health Association study, anxiety is the No. 1 mental health issue among college students. Last year, 89 percent of St. Thomas students reported to the ACHC that they felt overwhelmed and more than half said they suffered from anxiety.

Counseling and Psychological Services director Jeri Rockett and TommieMedia reporter Simeon Lancaster look into why anxiety is an issue at St. Thomas and how students can deal with its symptoms.
