USG reflects on the death of Amir Locke and covers COVID protocols, financing, and special elections at Feb. 17 meeting

At the first in-person meeting of the spring semester, the Undergraduate Student Government took a moment to reflect on the death of Amir Locke; President Adam Revoir suggested USG show support by reaching out to multicultural councils and clubs, while another student pointed out that police officers and first responders are affected by these events as well.

With three Tommies competing in 2022, St. Thomas adds to its Olympic footprint

The Tommies received national attention with their Division I debut last fall and now fans from around the world are cheering on two St. Thomas women’s hockey players and their coach during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. First-year goaltender Saskia Maurer and first-year defender Nicole Vallario are representing Switzerland while their coach, Joel Johnson, coaches reigning 2018 Winter Olympics champion Team USA.
