The Tommies (1-6-1, 0-0 Summit) faced off against the Phoenix (3-2-2, 0-1 Horizon) in their second home match of the season. This was the Tommies’ last game before conference play starts on Saturday.
The St. Thomas baseball team mercy-ruled Western Illinois 12-2 in seven innings Sunday at Koch Diamond. The victory marked the Tommies’ third consecutive series win after defeating Tarleton State and Northern Colorado prior.
