During a women’s hockey game Nov. 13 against Augsburg, freshmen Andrea Bishop and Lauren Mumm scored their first collegiate goals. It was only fitting since the two players have been playing hockey together since they were 6 years old.
Hannon’s career-high point performance helps St. Thomas defeat Bethel 82-72
Led by junior Tommy Hannon’s career-high 23 points, the eighth-ranked St. Thomas men’s basketball team defeated Bethel 82-72 at home Saturday afternoon, holding off a late surge by the Royals.
Hannon was virtually unstoppable throughout the game, shooting 6-8 from the field and 11-15 from the free throw line.

Nicolai’s big second half lifts Tommies past Augsburg
A 17-point second half from senior guard Tyler Nicolai helped the men’s basketball team (16-1 overall, 11-1 MIAC) defeat Augsburg (11-6 overall, 6-6 MIAC) 82-66 Wednesday night at Schoenecker Arena.
Nicolai shot more than 60 percent from the field and added six assists to the Tommie win.
