Move over, Target Field. The new seats overlooking Palmer Field at O’Shaughnessy Stadium are the latest rage for St. Thomas students.

Technical glitch delays USG elections

Twenty candidates are running for seven open positions, including a spot on the executive board, on the Undergraduate Student Government.
Fall elections begin Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. and will remain open until Friday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m.
A ‘more proactive’ approach to foster better student, neighbor relations
As St. Thomas students return to campus, neighbors have definitely noticed an increase in local traffic.
“I personally look forward to the energy and vitality of students in the fall,” neighbor Scott Banas said. He said he enjoys the sound of students cheering at football games while raking his lawn.
Despite slow start, football defense steps up in 27-3 win
The Tommie football team won its home opener Saturday at Palmer Field, defeating the Wisconsin-River Falls Falcons 27-3.
“I think we cleaned up a lot of things that I was not really happy with the last game, primarily the turnovers that we had in the opener and some of the miscommunications,” coach Glenn Caruso said. “I think overall it was good.”
Yearbook getting rid of printed version, going completely digital this year
The class of 2010 will be the last class to receive a printed yearbook, as the Aquinas staff will launch an all-digital yearbook for the 2010-11 school year in early October.
