Turnovers prove costly as Tommies fall to Titans
Wisconsin-Oshkosh held off a St. Thomas rally in the second half and got a 37-yard field goal from Eli Wettstein with 2:30 remaining to eliminate the Tommies from the NCAA Division III football playoffs.
Tommies commit five turnovers, trail UW-Oshkosh at halftime
Wisconsin-Oshkosh defensive back Johnny Eagan intercepted two passes from St. Thomas quarterback Alex Fenske, and the Titans forced three more turnovers in the first half Saturday to forge a 24-10 lead over the Tommies.
