Baseball sweeps Gustavus 4-1, 3-0
Men’s baseball swept a doubleheader against Gustavus Sunday to raise its MIAC record to 6-4. The Tommies’ next conference matchup is April 20 at home against Augsburg.
Men’s track and field competes in first outdoor meet
The Tommies started slow with a fifth-place 4-by-100-meter relay team finish by sophomores Eyo Ekpo and Cody Jerabek and freshmen Matt Schroeder and Jeff Rada.
Strong pitching helps softball sweep Bethel, extend winning streak to 18
Senior Biz Sitzmann (12-1) went the distance for the Tommies in the first game, giving up three runs on 10 hits. Senior Cassie Smith (11-1) threw a complete game shutout in game two, giving up four hits and striking out seven batters.
Three seniors display work at ‘Framed’ art exhibit
Seniors Kayla Thoma, Laura Wiering and Ann Speltz had multiple pieces in the show. Their work ranged from hanging sculptures to acrylic paintings.
Homeless for a night: Students sleep ‘for a solution’ in Lower Quad
The event, in which students slept in the Lower Quad, was sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government, Student Legacy Club and several businesses.
