The men’s swimming and diving team finished second in this weekend’s MIAC championships, while the women finished fourth.

Alumni Systems Director Liz Zupfer, formerly Liz Baniak, was the recipient of the 1991 Tommie Award. This year’s recipient will be the 81st in school history.

Senior Alex Healy helped drive the St. Thomas men’s basketball team to a 82-60 win over Hamline Wednesday at home, securing the Tommies a first-round playoff bye.
New baseball bats safer but have less ‘pop’
Going, going, but not quite gone? St. Thomas baseball players may not be able to hit the ball as far due to new NCAA bat standards.
The NCAA is trying to increase player safety, which was a concern with the previous type of aluminum bats.
