Although banned, T-shirts and party buses still show up in Collegeville
Even after the bans on party buses and inappropriate T-shirts at the Tommie-Johnnie football game, some students still rode party buses at least part of the way to the game, and some students snuck forbidden T-shirts into the stadium.
Field goal from the 40-yard line wins kicking contest
The third annual field-goal kicking contest was held Monday, Oct. 4 at Palmer Field. The event lasted from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and was organized by senior Marguerite Maginot, the intramural supervisor.
Scooter’s starts on-campus pizza delivery service
On Wednesday, Sept. 22, Scooter’s launched its new pizza delivery initiative in an effort to get more business and better serve the student population at St. Thomas.

Runners pass by arches in Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon
Some St. Thomas students, alumni and staff put on their running shoes Sunday, Oct. 3 for the 29th annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, “the most beautiful urban marathon in America.”
Jack’s Mannequin rocks out to 900 students in new field house
STAR presented the fall concert Oct. 2 in the new field house of the Anderson Athletic Center. Alternative rock band Jack’s Mannequin headlined the event, with opening act Unicycle Loves You.

The Tommies battled the Johnnies Saturday in Collegeville. After a disappointing loss in overtime last year, St. Thomas redeemed itself by beating St. John’s 27-26.
Women’s soccer beats Hamline Pipers 2-0
Freshman duo Katy Scherer and Stephanie McCartan led the St. Thomas women’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over the Hamline Pipers Saturday afternoon.
Wartman leads Tommies to big win in Collegeville
